    Orius creation and incorporation.

    Incubation by TechTheMoon and Nubbo to develop autonomous cultivation solutions for a habitable space environment.

  • May 2022

    Received a BPI French Tech Emergence grant for our deeptech technologies, particularly the BiomeboxⓇ.

  • Nov. 2022

    Strategic partnership with Capsum, including equity participation and the construction of a factory in Austin.

  • Nov. 2022

    Partnership with the french space agency (CNES), double Michelin-starred chef and leader in molecular cuisine Thierry Marx, and the Toulouse MIN market to explore cultivation and nutrition in a habitable space environment.

  • April 2023

    Inauguration of the Capsum factory in Austin, enabling the production of plant-based raw materials for cosmetics.

  • June 2023

    Deployment of the Biomelab and 10 phytotrons for research and production.

  • June 2024

    Launch of a 500 m² pilot industrial facility in Escalquens (south of France).

Paul-Hector co-founded Orius with the belief that indoor cultivation technology can go beyond agricultural production and trigger metabolic pathways to influence the chemical composition of plants.

His expertise in plant biology allows him to understand plant physiological mechanisms and thus reveal their full potential.

Pierre Jay

Pierre Jay is a École des Arts et Métiers graduate in Paris, recognized for his expertise in the design, engineering, and technical development of urban farms.

His ambition with Orius is to craft precise and reliable technology to support plant biology and the understanding of plant metabolic pathways.

Jérôme Velociter

A telecommunications engineer, Jérôme is an expert in software product development and data science.

For him, technology and data are levers to exploit the countless possibilities offered by nature.

Located in Escalquens (31), just 15 minutes from Toulouse, Orius operates from a 500 m² facility that includes a state-of-the-art R&D laboratory and cultivation rooms equipped with the latest technologies.
